Bubbly flow as well as droplet flow are identified as dispersion flow, which appears in many energy engineering applications. The main objectives of the project DISS is to improve the understanding and the modelling of some important phenomena occurring in dispersion flow regimes. The DISS project consists mainly of the following tasks:

  • Development of partitioning heat transfer model at wall boiling conditions
  • Dynamic behaviour of wall boiling bubbles
  • Droplets behaviour at post-dryout conditions.
